Who can use Muthumina

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally free to marry.
• Muthumina is for people looking for a marriage partner, and for parents or guardians helping an adult son or daughter, with that person's knowledge and consent.
• You may have only one account, and the information in it must be true and about you, or about the person you manage the profile for.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.

What you must not do

• Create a fake profile, pretend to be someone else, or post someone else's photos.
• Harass, threaten, insult or pressure other members.
• Ask members for money, gifts or financial details, or promote any business, scheme or service.
• Post sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content.
• Post anything involving children, or try to contact or arrange a marriage for anyone under 18.
• Collect other members' details, or copy or scrape content from Muthumina.
• Try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give Muthumina permission to store and show them to other members in line with your privacy settings, only to run the service. We may review, hide or remove content that breaks these terms.

Horoscope and Porondam

Horoscope charts and Porondam results are traditional, cultural guidance calculated from the birth details you give. They are not scientific predictions and do not guarantee any outcome. Many families also consult an astrologer before making a decision.

Meeting people

We verify phone numbers and email addresses, and review identity documents when members submit them, but we cannot guarantee who anyone is or what they intend. Use your own judgment, involve your family, and follow our safety tips at muthumina.lk/safety. Report anything that worries you.

Paid membership

• Creating a profile, searching and receiving interests are free. Premium memberships add extra features.
• Prices are shown in Sri Lankan rupees before you pay. Payments are processed by PayHere.
• A membership lasts for the period shown when you buy it. If a plan renews automatically, you can turn renewal off at any time in Membership.
• Payments are not refundable once a membership has started, except where the law requires a refund or we fail to provide what you paid for.

Suspension and removal

We may warn, suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or puts other members at risk, with or without notice. If you think we made a mistake, you can appeal from your account or write to [email protected].

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me, then Settings, then Delete account) or at muthumina.lk/delete. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your information.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Muthumina running and safe, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the actions of members, or for losses that come from meeting or communicating with them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Sri Lankan consumer law.

Changes to these terms

We will tell you about important changes in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Muthumina after that, the new terms apply.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction. Questions: [email protected].
